The nocturnal aardvark is roughly human -sized. It eats ants, and sometimes termites, and is found in dry tropical areas where its food is abundant. These creatures have poor eyesight, but a good sense of smell. Aardvark burrows may be up to 30’ long. Other names: ant -bear, ant -pig, earth -pig.
