These diurnal wild pigs are found in tropical rainforests and along riverbanks. The males are noted for their elongated tusks, and are solitary, while the females live in groups of 2d16 with an additional 4d16 young. Adults are 2 -3 feet long, and weigh as much as 200 pounds. Some cultures may keep these animals domestically. Their behavior and diet are very much the same as that of other pigs, but they can only root for food in very soft ground, such as mud.
