Blowfly
Source product: Cyclopedia of Common Animals

Section: Giant Beetle Types
Blowflies may lay eggs in open wounds, where their larvae burrow into and consume dead flesh (and sometimes healthy tissue). The maggots, called screwworms due to their appearance, allow a new save against any existing infection as they eat away at the affected tissue. Blowfly larvae rarely cause human deaths, so healers may intentionally introduce screwworms to patients in the hope that they will end some worse infection. Fleas: DC 5 Fort to avoid 1 point of Agility damage each day.
Summary
