Coyotes are both scavengers and predators, and are far more likely to attack a lone wayfarer than a large and well -armed party. They weigh an average of 2d16+28 pounds. Dholes are social wild dogs with long legs and long backs. They usually live in groups of about a dozen members, but 10% of dhole packs consist of 4d10 members. Adult dholes weigh 2d14+20 pounds, with males weighing slightly more than females. They tend to hunt in the early morning, and can maintain pursuit for hours.
