Fin Whale

Source product: Cyclopedia of Common Animals
Pages: 148
Section: Whales – Baleen

These large baleen whales average 1d6+60 feet in length, but can be over 80 feet long. They are incredibly fast swimmers, being able to outpace any non -magical ship with relative ease. Because they can often escape, and tend to sink when slain, they are usually left alone by whalers, even though they are valuable for meat, oil, and whalebone. Other Names: Finback whale, herring whale, razorback whale, and rorqual.
