Fire Ant Swarm

Fire ants can sting victims, creating painful welts and hives. They make nests in the ground, in abandoned dwellings, and under the bark of trees, rising to defend these areas from unsuspecting creatures who wander too close. Luckily, a hasty retreat often ends an attack. Other Names: Ginger ant and red ant.
