A small arctic gull weighing 11d10+120 grams with a wingspan of 1d7+80 inches, the xeme can be found considerably farther south during the winter months, although predominantly in cooler regions. Whereas the smaller xeme feeds on various insects, crustaceans, mollusks, and fish, their giant kin are large enough to carry an unarmored human, and consequently seek larger prey. They have been known to attack humanoids when times are lean, although this is rare unless specifically trained to do so.
