Goshawks are large hawks with a wingspan of 1d3+2 feet, the females being larger than the males. They can be used for falconry, assuming normal falconry gear, with a trained bird costing 40 gp or more when available. Captive goshawks may live 1d16+10 years, but wild goshawks have a far shorter life expectancy.
