These are the smallest of the cetaceans at 4 feet plus 1d20 inches and length and weighing 3d30+120 pounds, females being larger than males. They keep close to the shore, and are thus often sighted, and may swim up estuaries and rivers. Other Names: Common porpoise, nise, and puffing pig.
