Krait

Section: Snakes – Venomous

These nocturnal snakes are 2d3+1 feet long, with brightly colored stripes to advertise their venomous nature. Although normally relatively docile, their venom is dangerous, and they are found nearly anywhere in their range, including near humanoid dwellings. Krait venom requires a DC 14 Fort save. On a success, the victim suffers 1d3 Agility damage. On a failure, the victim suffers 2d3 permanent Agility damage and must succeed in a second DC 14 Fort save or die. A thief can milk 1d5 doses of venom from a krait, living or dead, with a successful Handle Poison check. This may cause some to seek out the reclusive reptile, possibly to their sorrow.
