The okapi stands almost 5 feet tall at the shoulder, and weighs 12d30+400 pounds. It is a rare dweller in hilly tropical forests, and on the skirts of tropical mountains where there is sufficient canopy cover. They are typically solitary, with reddish coats, long necks, and zebra -like patterns on their legs. In some areas, okapi pelts may be worth as much as 2d3 gp each due to their rarity. Other names: Forest giraffe and zebra giraffe.
