These fairly intelligent birds are sometimes tamed, or semi -tamed, and can learn to speak phrases similarly to the way a parrot can. 1 in 20 ravens has human -level intelligence, and 1 in 16 of these will have a single level of wizard or cleric (equal chances of each). On a critical hit, in addition to other effects, ravens remove a victim’s eye unless a DC 5 Reflex save succeeds.
