Taipan

At a length of 1d4+5 feet and weighing 1d6+1 pounds, this venomous snake is found in coastal, desert, and inland areas of Australia and New Guinea. Although it doesn’t go out of its way to be aggressive, it is quick to defend itself. A thief can recover 2d6 doses of venom from a living or dead taipan.
