Adult male turkeys weigh 1d14+10 pounds and females weigh 1d7+6 pounds, although larger specimens are possible. If kept domestically, turkeys usually have their wings clipped to prevent flight. Modern domestic turkeys are considerably larger, and can reach up to 96 pounds.
